Social
Media

Social media outlets are companies that host and manage digital media platforms that allow you to interact and network with others by creating and sharing data, information, and content files (image, video, text, audio) through hardware devices (smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer) that access the internet (world wide web/www pages, apps/applications). Traditional media companies might share their content as digital media on the internet through social media platforms.

Interactions can be as an individual or community/company/group, within private or public networks, with people you know or do not know, sharing and re-sharing content directly or indirectly.
